Description

The Alchemy of Translation is intended to introduce the art of translation to beginners who have opted for Translation Studies as a Minor Course offered as a part of MGU-UGP in English. The syllabus is progressively graded and starts with Malayalam Literature in Translation in the first semester for which this textbook is designed. The text aims at introducing the learner to the chief genres of Malayalam Literature and the techniques employed in translating them to English, besides providing exercises in translation as well.
